MAC.APP. 102/2020 & CM APP. 7419/2020 This petition impugns the award of compensation dated 12.12.2029 passed by the ld. MACT in MACT No. 388/2018, in so far as, it has granted compensation in terms of Magma General Insurance Co. Ltd. vs. Nanu Ram @ Chuhru Ram & Ors., (2018) 18 SCC 130 towards "loss of consortium" @ 40,000/- and "loss of love and affection" @ 50,000/- to each of the claimants. There is no anomaly in the award. The petition is without merit and the same is hereby dismissed. The statutory amount along with interest accrued thereon shall be deposited into the „AASRA‟ Fund created by this Court for the amelioration or the conditioning and rehabilitation of burns victims.
