The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent-MCD to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no.5 in the property bearing no. 1/18, G-II, Ratiya Marg, Main Road, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi-110080 (hereinafter 'subject property').

Mr.

Kapil Dutta, Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent-MCD, on advance notice, submits that after following the due process of law, demolition order has been passed against the unauthorized construction in the subject property. He further submits that part demolition action was carried out on 16th April, 2026 and further demolition action is W.P.(C) 4476/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. planned for 12th May, 2026. A work stop order has also been issued to respondent no. 4/ SHO P.S. Sangam Vihar on 16th April, 2026. 3.

Accordingly, taking note of the aforesaid submissions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.

Needless to state, the respondent-MCD shall proceed to take action in accordance with law.

Respondent no.4/ SHO, P.S. Sangam Vihar shall ensure that no further construction is carried out in the subject property. 6.

In the event, the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the respondent no.5 are kept open.

Pending applications also stand disposed of.
