% 22.01.2018 Respondent no. 2 is tenant of petitioner no. 2. It is submitted that a quarrel took place between petitioner no. 2 and respondent no. 3, which resulted in registration of FIR No.

202/2007 under Sections 448/323/380/506/120-B IPC at police station Gokulpuri. Petitioner no. 1 is son of petitioner no. 2; whereas petitioner no. 3 is nephew of petitioner no. 2.

It is submitted that Respondent no. 2 has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 10th January, 2018. Respondent no. 2 Mr. Rakesh Verma is present in Court and has been

identified by SI Shailendra Kumar Singh of police station Gokulpuri. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has no objection in case FIR may be quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties voluntarily, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 202/2007 under Sections 448/323/380/506/120-B IPC registered at police station Gokulpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
