By way of this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with FIR 294/2020, dated 07.12.2020, lodged at Police Station Special Cell (SB), under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

After some arguments, Mr. Saurabh Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this application, however he seeks a direction for expedition of proceedings before the Trial Court. 3.

The Trial Court is requested to consider the aforesaid request in accordance with its own Board and age of matters pending before it. Mr. Tarang Srivastava, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, states that the prosecution will cooperate in the expeditious progress of the proceedings.
