By way of the present application, the applicant seeks grant of interim bail for a period of 30 days in case arising out of FIR bearing No. 12/2026, registered at Police Station Crime Branch, Delhi for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 21/25/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (hereafter 'NDPS Act'). 4.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant states that the applicant has been blessed with a daughter on 24.03.2026 and he wants to spend time with the newly born child. Therefore, it is prayed that interim bail be granted to the applicant.

The learned APP appearing on behalf of the State does not oppose the present interim bail application.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, also keeping in mind the fact that the applicant has been in judicial custody for last more than two months, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the applicant for a period of 01 week from the date of his release, subject to following conditions:

(i) The applicant shall furnish a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the concerned Trial Court/Duty Magistrate:

(ii) The applicant shall surrender his passport, and will not leave the country during this period.

(iii) The applicant shall also provide his mobile number to the I.O./S.H.O. concerned, which shall be kept operational at all times. (iv) The applicant shall not indulge in any criminal activity during the period of interim bail.

(v) The applicant shall not ask for any further extension of the interim bail and shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent immediately after expiry of the interim bail. 7.

Accordingly, the present interim bail application stands disposed of. 8.
