% 14.01.2020 This is an appeal under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 which challenges the impugned judgment dated 29th January, 2018. The matter pertains to village Shahbad, Daulatpur and Award No. 29/2002-03. This Court, in Hem Chander Malik vs. Union of India, 2011 SCC OnLine Del 4111 and the Supreme Court, in SLP (C) No. 26985/2012 titled Hem Chander Malik v. Union of India had upheld the award in respect of the same village. The compensation would have to be determined in these appeals in the same manner as has been done in Hem Chander Malik vs. Union of India (supra).

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed in terms of the order of the Supreme Court in Hem Chander Malik vs. Union of India (supra). PRATHIBA M. SINGH, J JANUARY 14, 2020/MR
