W.P.(C) No. 2387/2019 The petitioner's grievance is in relation to encroachment in Gali No. 32, Naiwala, Karol Bagh, Delhi by persons running motorcycle dealerships and repair shops from the public streets in the area. Photographs annexed with the petition disclose a sorry state of affairs whereby it appears that the public street is almost entirely taken-over, leaving no right of way. 2.
Ms. Jasbir Kaur, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that complaints in this regard made to respondent No.1/North DMC have been of no avail.
Ms. Unnati Anand, proxy counsel appears for Ms. Namrata Mukim,
learned Panel counsel for respondent No.1/North DMC on advance copy. Learned counsel also appears for respondent No. 2 SHO : PS Karol Bagh on advance copy.

After some submissions, Ms. Jasbir Kaur seeks leave to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the Special Task Force set-up by Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MHUA) vide Office Memorandums dated 25.04.2018 and 23.05.2018 issued under directions of the Supreme Court in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 4677/1985 titled M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India & Ors.

Accordingly the petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
