By these writ petitions, petitioner seeks vacation of interim W.P.(C) 2138/2020 & 2141/2020

protection granted to the respondent by order dated 14.01.2019, which has been extended from time to time.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the fact that the proceedings have been pending for over a year, the application for grant of interim protection has not been finally disposed of by the concerned Court.

Since the matter is already listed before the trial Court on 29.02.2020, no directions can be issued to the trial Court at this stage except to draw attention of the trial Court is drawn to Section 9 (4) of The Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971. The trial Court shall endeavour to expedite the proceedings. 4.

Writ petitions is disposed of.
