The petition has been filed seeking following reliefs: "a) Issue an appropriate writ/order for setting the aside the Impugned notice dated 25.03.2026 issued by the ADM without Jurisdiction as improper constitution of the Maintenance Tribunal as per the Delhi Maintenance and welfare of parents and senior citizens rules, 2009. b) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, including a writ in the nature of mandamus. directing the respondent no. 1 to ensure a fair, impartial and meaningful hearing of both parties in the proceedings titled "Smt. Sukhvinder Kaur in vs. Sh. Jaspreet Singh" pending before the Ld. ADM (Central)/Presiding Officer, Maintenance Tribunal for Maintenance & Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens.
c) issue appropriate directions to duly consider the written arguments/synopsis filed by the petitioner on 26.02.2026 and 06.03.2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
prior to passing any final order, including on the next date of hearing i.e. 07.04.2026.
d) Pass any other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case." 4.
The petition is against the notice dated 25.03.2026 issued by the Ld. ADM (Central)/Presiding Officer, Maintenance Tribunal, whereby the parties have been directed to appear on 07.04.2026. 5.
It appears that notice has been directed pursuant to the observations made by the Court in W.P.(C) 18361/2025 in order dated 19.01.2026. The order dated 19.01.2026 is extracted as under: "1. The petitioner's grievance seems to be emanating from the order dated 08.08.2025 by the Addl. District Magistrate (Central). The instant writ petition has therefore been filed seeking directions to the respondents to ensure enforcement of the aforenoted order and adjudication of the pending application for Relinquishment Deed Cancellation dated 08.09.2025.
2. It is a matter of record that the said order was challenged in appeal and the Divisional Commissioner vide order dated 10.10.2025, dismissed the appeal.

However, in view of the fact that the petitioner's application seeking cancellation of the Relinquishment Deed is stated to be pending, the petitioner's grievance, whether it pertains to non-compliance of the order dated 08.08.2025 or to the disposal of the application for cancellation of the relinquishment deed, can therefore very well be considered by the concerned ADM.
4. On the petitioner's approaching the ADM along with a copy of the order passed today, let the concerned ADM to deal with the same with due expedition.

The petitioner, who appears in person, apprehends that without deciding her objection or extending proper opportunity of hearing, the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) will pass an adverse order against her. The said apprehension is wholly misconceived. The notice is issued in order to allow the petitioner to put forth her grievances. With respect to the authority of the concerned SDM as to whether he can issue the show cause notice, itself, can be looked into by the concerned Authority. It is well settled that the Authority can rule on its own jurisdiction.

Mr. Shashi Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the respondent places reliance on an order dated 21.05.2018 passed in W.P.(C) 11260/2017 and contends that the issue raised herein, has been settled by this Court. Let a copy of this order be given to the petitioner. 9.
Even in any case, all those aspects can be looked into by the concerned Authority.

Expressing no opinion on the merits, the petition stands disposed of. 11.
