The Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers: "a) This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to summon the record of the petitioner from the office of the respondents which were filed by the petitioner for applying for allotment of chamber;

b) The appropriate writ may kindly be issued thereby quashing the impugned order dated 28.11.2013 and 25.10.2023, vide which the respondent No.1 has rejected the application of the petitioner for allotment of a chamber in Rohini Courts Lawyers Chambers Complex;

c) To call or summon the complete record file from LC The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

AC in respect of order dated 28.11.2013 and 25.10.2023;

d) The appropriate writ may kindly be issued thereby directing the respondent to allot the chamber to the petitioner;

e) Costs of the proceedings may also be awarded to the petitioner;

f) Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper may also be granted to the petitioner." 2.

Material on record indicates that the Petitioner had initially applied for allotment of a chamber at Rohini Court, Delhi on 06.04.2013 which was rejected. Thereafter, the Petitioner moved one more application for allotment of a chamber at Rohini Court on 01.04.2021. Material on record indicates that vide Communication dated 31.10.2022, the Petitioner was directed to submit a No-Objection Certificate regarding Chamber No.618 from other co-allottee. Vide the Impugned Communication dated 25.10.2023, the application given by the Petitioner on 01.04.2021 for allotment of a chamber at Rohini Court was rejected. The Communication dated 25.10.2023 reads as under:

"Sub: Application for Allotment of Chamber No. 618, Rohini Courts, Delhi.

Sir, With reference to your letter dated 01.04.2021, on the subject cited above. I am directed to inform you that the aforesaid application has been considered by the Lawyers Chamber Allotment Committee in its meeting held on 02.08.2023. The Committee is of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

unanimous view that no request for fresh allotment / reconsideration application shall be entertained until a notification is issued.

Therefore, the aforesaid application is rejected and stand disposed off."

A perusal of the aforesaid communication shows that the Committee has unanimously taken a decision that any request for fresh allotment/reconsideration of applications for allotment of a chamber shall not be entertained until a notification outlining the procedure for allotment of chambers is issued.

In view of the above, this Court does not find any reason to interfere with the decision taken by the Committee. The writ petition is dismissed, along with pending application(s), if any.

Needless to state that after the notification is issued, it is always open for the Petitioner to make a fresh application for allotment of a chamber which shall be considered on its own merits by the Chamber Allotment Committee without being influenced by the fact that the instant writ petition has been dismissed.
