Mr. Siddhartha Sinha, learned Senior Standing Counsel for the respondents, on instruction informs that the Centralized Processing Centre has asked the Assessing Officer to generate paper refund to the petitioner of the requisite amount.

With the assurance so given, the present writ petition is disposed of alongwith pending application.

It shall be required of the respondents to make the due payment alongwith applicable statutory interest latest by 30.06.2026. In case the respondents fail to make requisite payment by 30.06.2026, additional interest at the rate of 1.5% shall be payable to the petitioner-assessee apart from what has been provided in the statue.
