By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR bearing No. 29/2013, registered at Police Station Shahabad Dairy, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC') and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of settlement arrived at between the parties.

Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State. 3.

All the petitioners are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, Police Station, Shahabad Dairy, Delhi.

scuffle had taken place between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 wherein respondent nos. 2 to 4 had suffered some injury. Thereafter, upon the complaint by respondent no. 2, the present FIR came to be registered against the petitioners. It is stated that with intervention of the family and friends, the parties have now amicably settled their dispute and their statements regarding the same have also been recorded vide order dated 02.06.2025 before JMFC (N)/Rohini Courts-05, New Delhi. 5.

On a query made by this Court, respondent nos. 2 to 4 who have been identified by the IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. Therefore, they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 6.

In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 7.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 29/2013, registered at Police Station Shahabad Dairy, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 323/341/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petition stands disposed of.
