2020-02-26Hon'Ble Mr. Justice Rajiv Shakdher2 pages

$~61 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(C) 2188/2020 SHRI SHARMA TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE..... Petitioner Through:

Mr. Mayank Manish with Mr. Ravi Kant, Advs.

versus NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR TEACHER EDUCATION AND ORS.

..... Respondents Through:

Ms. Arunima Dwivedi with Ms.

Niharika Rai, Advs.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SHAKDHER

O R D E R

% 26.02.2020 1.

Issue notice. Ms. Dwivedi accepts notice for the respondents. 2.

With the consent of the counsel for the parties, the matter is taken up for final hearing and disposal today itself.

3.

The limited grievance of the petitioner is that while the Letter of Intent (LOI) was issued on 15.9.2016 and a response qua the same was submitted by it on 30.03.2019, there has been no further movement in the matter.

4.

The captioned writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Regional Committee i.e. NRC/WRC to dispose of the petitioner's application for grant of recognition qua D.EL.Ed. course at the earliest. W.P.(C) 2188/2020 1/2

5.

The concerned Regional Committee i.e. NRC/WRC shall endeavour to dispose of the petitioner's application before the cut-off date i.e. 3.3.2020 and if, for whatever reason, it is not possible, the application will be processed within a reasonable period of time. 6.

The latter direction, I have passed, in view of the fact that the petitioner has not displayed alacrity in approaching this Court. 7.

While the concerned Regional Committee is at fault, certain part of the burden also lies on the petitioner.

8.

Dasti under signatures of the Court Master.
