This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 274 / 2020, PS Safdarjung Enclave under Sections 308/323/341/34 IPC. 2.
Respondent No.2 appears through counsel and states that the petitioner was her relative being her brother-in-law and she was in a relationship with him, and in this context, there were some disputes between the parties, in which context the FIR was registered. She states that she does not want to pursue the issues further considering the settlement has been arrived at on 16th February, 2024. Her affidavit has already been placed on record.

Considering the above settlement between the parties, and the statement of respondent no. 2, and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 274 / 2020, PS Safdarjung Enclave under Sections 308/323/341/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 5.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
