IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ W.P.(C) 643/2018 and CM APPL. 2797/2018 JASPAL SINGH, EX.HC/GD ..... Petitioner Through: Mr. O.P. Agarwal, Advocate versus UNION OF INDIA AND ORS.
..... Respondents Through: Mr. Gigi C. George, Advocate
CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE HIMA KOHLI HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE REKHA PALLI
O R D E R
% 23.01.2018 1.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that a typographical error has crept in the last sentence of para 8 of the writ petition, wherein the date of Annexure P-3 has wrongly been mentioned as 21.06.2016 whereas the correct date is 21.06.2004. 2.
Counsel for the petitioner has been permitted to carry out necessary corrections in the record against his signatures. 3.
After the corrections have been permitted to be carried out in the first set, we find that the second set of the paper book filed by the counsel for the petitioner does not tally with the first set. Even the annexure numbers are different.
4.
Counsel for the petitioner states that he is not aware of the aforesaid error and requests that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition while reserving his right to file a fresh petition on the same cause of action, after carrying out necessary corrections.
W.P.(C) 643/2018
5.
While cautioning learned counsel for the petitioner to be more careful in the future, leave, as prayed for, is granted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn alongwith the pending application.
