The present petition seeks a direction that the respondent/Election Commission of India be directed to allot a common symbol of "TELEVISION" to all candidates set up by the petitioner in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, 2024 in the State of Tamil Nadu, on the basis of the representation dated 17.02.2024 given by the petitioner to the respondent. 2.
Issue notice.

Learned counsel, as aforesaid, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/ECI.

After some hearing, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 17.02.2024 shall be decided expeditiously, in accordance with law and a reasoned order shall be passed thereon.
