% 23.01.2018 Petitioner seeks a prayer that the Sentence Review Board (of the NCT of Delhi) be directed to consider the application of the petitioner for dealing with his prayer for pre-mature release as a remission of the remaining sentence. Learned counsel for the State on an advance notice has put in appearance. Her submission is that the Sentence Review Board sits periodically and the case of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law and on its merits.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.

Copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for intimation to the petitioner.
