After some arguments, both the parties are agreeable that the respondent No.1 may hear the parties afresh in accordance with Insurance Ombudsman Rules, 2017 ("2017 Rules") and pass an Award in terms of Rule No. 17 of the 2017 Rules. 2.

Accordingly, the impugned order dated 26.09.2024 is set aside. 3.

The petitioner shall appear before the respondent No.1 on 02.03.2026 along with copy of the order. The respondent No.1 shall, after hearing the petitioner in accordance with the 2017 Rules, shall pass a speaking order expeditiously and in any case, not later than 8 weeks from today.
