Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 61/2026 of PS Jama Masjid for offence under Section 135/150 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amend.) 2003 on the ground that the parties have settled the disputes before the Lok Adalat.

Learned ASC points out the Standard Operating Procedure, as per which in such circumstances, the petitioners have to approach the District Deputy Commissioner, GNCTD, for compounding the offence. Copy of the SOP handed over to learned counsel for petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for petitioners, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to take recourse to appropriate legal remedy.
