The Petitioner's limited grievance in the present petition pertains to the inaction on the part of the Statutory Appellate Authority (Respondent No. 1) in deciding his statutory appeal dated 25th September, 2025. In this regard, upon a pointed query by the Court, Mr. Tushar Ranjan Mohanty, counsel for the Petitioner, submits that while the rules do not prescribe any specific timeline, there are administrative instructions envisaging that action ought to be taken within a period of one month. 2.

Having regard to the foregoing, and in view of the limited nature of the relief sought, without delving into the merits of the case, the Appellate Authority is directed to decide the Petitioner's statutory appeal dated 25th September, 2025 within a period of six weeks from today. 3.

The petition is disposed of.
