The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeks the following prayers:

"a. Allow Writ petition under article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 528 BNSS for the issuance of Writ in the nature of Mandamus to grant emergency parole for a period of two months to the petitioner.

b. Pass any other order or further orders, which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice;" 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the latter has not preferred any representation before the competent authority.
