% 13.03.2019 On the oral prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner coaccused Raja Ram is impleaded as respondent no. 3 to the lis. Amended memo of parties be filed during course of the day. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2-BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd. submits that matter has been amicably settled between the petitioner, respondent no. 3 and respondent no.2 before the Special Lok Adalat held on 09.12.2017 by the Delhi State Legal Services Authority. He further submits that settled amount has already been received by the respondent no. 2, inasmuch as, respondent no. 2 has issued NOC in favour of the petitioner.

He also submits that in view of the settlement respondent no. 2 has no objection in case FIR No. 1532/2015 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 and the consequent proceedings are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner, respondent no. 3 and BSES (respondent no.2) before the Special Lok Adalat, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in continuance of present criminal proceedings.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
