% 22.01.2020 This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ, order or direction to respondent No.1/SDMC to take steps for demolition of the illegal and unauthorized construction raised by respondent No.3 on the Plot No.65, K.No.272 Bhajan Pura, Jasola, New Delhi. Respondent No.1/SDMC has today filed a status report in the Registry a copy of which has been handed over in court. As per the status report, demolition proceedings have been initiated against the said property under section 343 of the DMC Act on 03.04.2018 and sealing action was also initiated under section 345-A of the DMC Act. On 18.07.2018, the entire property has been sealed and said to have to be lying sealed. Photographs have been placed on record to show the sealing of the property. None has appeared for the petitioner.

As appropriate steps are being taken by respondent No.1/SDMC, nothing further survives in the present petition.

Respondent No.1/SDMC will ensure that the property will be dealt with as per law. In case, any illegal construction or any other act is done by respondent No.3, respondent No.1/SDMC will ensure appropriate action as per law.

With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. JAYANT NATH, J.
