The petitioner is seeking expeditious hearing of the petition filed by him for dissolution of marriage against the respondent under Section 12(1)(a) of the Hindu Marriage Act.

The petitioner submits that the petition was listed for recording of the petitioner's evidence on 03rd February, 2017 and it is being adjourned for the same purpose since then. The petitioner further submits that he has cleared the arrears of maintenance of Rs.60,000/- for the period March, 2016 to February, 2018 @ Rs.2500/- per month in terms of the order dated 11th March, 2016 passed by the learned Family Court. The copy of the passbook containing the entry of transfer of Rs.60,000/- to the respondent's account has been handed over and taken on record. Copy of the same is handed over to the respondent present in Court.

The petition is allowed and the Family Court is directed to expedite the hearing of the petition for dissolution of marriage and make endeavour

to decide the same within a period of one year from today. 4.

Pending applications are disposed of.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for the parties under signatures of the Court Master.
