% 19.01.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 settled their disputes before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 6th May, 2014.

They have resolved their differences and started living together since 1st June, 2014. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Vikas Tomar, P.S. Bhajan Pura, submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have resolved their differences and have started living together, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly,

FIR No. 256/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Bhajan Pura and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
