The present petition raises a grievance as regards order dated 04.10.2024, passed by the concerned District Magistrate while exercising jurisdiction over the complaint filed by the petitioner under Rule 22 (3) of the Delhi Welfare and Maintenance of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 (hereinafter 'the Senior Citizen Rules'). The said complaint came to be dismissed by the District Magistrate vide order dated 04.10.2024. 2.

Since the impugned order dated 04.10.2024, passed by the District Magistrate is appealable under Rule 22(4) of Delhi Welfare and Maintenance of Senior Citizens Rules, 2009, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pursue its appellate remedy in accordance with law. 3.

In case, any request for interim relief is made before the Appellate Authority, the same shall also be considered by the Appellate Authority. 4.
