The present application has been filed by the Petitioner under Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 seeking compliance of order dated 27th March, 2025 passed by this Court. The present application has been filed in view of the fact that the Central Warehousing Corporation (hereinafter 'CWC') has charged storage charges from the Petitioner. 3.
On 27th March, 2025, this Court had directed clearly that no storage charges shall be payable by the Petitioner. Paragraph 6 of the said order is extracted below:
"6. The items which have been detained shall be released to the Petitioner within a period of four weeks, after verifying the credentials of the Petitioner. No storage charges shall be payable in this case."

In view thereof, there was no question that CWC shall charge any storage charges, however, it appears that the same has been collected from the Petitioner on 06th May, 2025.

Accordingly, the Customs Department shall issue a detention certificate to the Petitioner by 02nd June, 2025. After receipt of the same, CWC shall remit the storage charges by 6th June 2025, to the Petitioner in the following bank account directly:

If the storage charges are not remitted to the Petitioner by 06th June, 2025, an additional charge of Rs.10,000/- rupees shall be remitted by CWC, as costs of the present application.
