% 23.02.2018 Status report has been filed. The address of the petitioner stands verified. Nominal roll of the petitioner reflects that he is a convict under Sections 364-A read with Sections 120-B/34 of the IPC. He has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment of life besides the sentence of fine. As on 17.02.2018, he has undergone incarceration of more than 10 years which includes the remission earned by him. The Competent Authority had rejected his prayer seeking parole for the reasons that his conduct as dis-satisfactory; he had also jumped parole on one occasion and had to be re-arrested in another case. The reason for seeking the prayer of parole is to look for a suitable match for his son and daughter, both of whom are stated to be of marriageable age. The fact that the children are of marriageable age is confirmed.

Accordingly, petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks (to be counted from the date of his release) on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendant with condition that the petitioner shall surrender himself to the Jail immediately on the expiry of the aforenoted parole period of four weeks. He shall report to the local SHO on every Monday of each week. He shall also furnish his latest mobile number and residential address to the local SHO.

Petition disposed of in the above terms.

A copy of this petition be sent to the Jail Superintendant concerned.
