BAIL APPLN. 112/2017 1.

The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No. 462/2013 under Sections 498A/304-B/34 IPC registered at PS Mandawali.

Status report has not been filed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and examined the file. Allegations against the petitioner are very serious. The victim, petitioner's wife expired within 7-8 months of her marriage in the matrimonial home. She had sustained burn injuries on her body. The petitioner was found present inside the room with burn injuries on his hands and legs. BAIL APPLN. 112/2017

Victim's family members have levelled serious allegations of harassment to the victim on account of dowry demands.

The petitioner has been charged under Section 302 IPC as well. 5.

Considering the gravity of offence, no sufficient ground for grant of bail at this stage.

The bail application is dismissed.
