The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the decision of the respondents to withdraw the National Quality Monitor assignment for inspection of the Pradhan Mantari Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) projects in the districts of Bhagalpur and Banka in Bihar. 2.

The petitioner was appointed as a National Quality Monitor and he states that he has been carrying on his work with due diligence. The petitioner is, essentially, aggrieved by the decision of the respondents to withdraw the assignments from him for "administrative reasons". 3.

Mr Mohan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, points out that the petitioner had already made a representation in this regard, which is pending consideration.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2019 and pass a reasoned order

within a period of four weeks from today, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.

All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved. 6.

Needless to state that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said decision, he is at liberty to avail of the remedies as available in law. 7.
