The present proceedings are instituted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 395/2020 registered under Sections 323/354(B)/506/34 IPC at P.S. Fatehpur Beri, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners beat and misbehaved with respondent No.2 and another person 'U'. 3.

Mr. Sabharwal, learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that petitioners are the only accused persons and that besides the respondent No.2/complainant, there is another injured/victim namely 'U'. 4.

respondent No. 2 and injured 'U' are related inasmuch as the petitioners are the in-laws of victim 'U'. He further submits that parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding/Settlement dated 22.02.2024. In terms of the said settlement, complainant and victim 'U' are now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners. 5.

Petitioners and respondent No.2 alongwith victim/'U', who are present in Court, have been identified by their respective counsel as well as the I.O./SI Ashwani Yadav and HC Jasbir, P.S. Fatehpuri Beri, Delhi. 6.

Petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No. 2 and victim/'U' state that they have settled the disputes with the petitioners out of their own free will, volition and without any coercion and have no objection if the present FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 9.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
