The petitioner's statutory appeal under Section 26 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 is pending for its final consideration. The Court, therefore, does not find it appropriate to exercise the power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India and to interdict the proceedings. The petitioner, however, is granted liberty to pursue the remedy which he has already taken recourse to.
