O R D E R

The present petition has been filed under Section 438 CrPC seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 210/2022 under Sections 420/120B IPC and Sections 66C/66D of Information Technology Act, 2000 registered at Police Station Crime Branch.

Notice was issued in this matter vide order dated 21.04.2023 and interim protection was granted to the petitioner subject to his joining investigation.

The learned ASC for the State on instructions from the IO, who is present in Court states that the petitioner has joined the investigation as and when called by the IO and he is not further required for any investigation The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and chargesheet is likely to be filed soon.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for any further investigation and the chargesheet is likely to be filed by the State, it is directed that in the event of petitioner being arrested, he be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- each and a surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer / Arresting Officer further subject to the condition that he will join investigation as and when directed by the IO concerned. 5.

The petition stand disposed of.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the interim protection given to the petitioner has been confirmed by this Court, therefore, the LOC which was issued only to ensure that petitioner joins the investigation may also be cancelled. The prayer is not opposed by the learned ASC for the State.

In view of the above, LOC opened against petitioner (Passport No. K9039565) vide Memo No. 909/DCP/ARSC, CR & Cyber dated 09.11.2022, is cancelled.
