The learned counsels named above, who appear on receipt of advance copy of the petition, accept notice on behalf of the respondents. At joint request, the petition is taken up for disposal. After some arguments, the learned Senior Advocate for the petitioners submits that for further moment, the petitioners would be satisfied if the petition is treated as their representation by respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3, apropos the relief sought by them. It is argued that their representations dated 01.11.2019, 07.11.2019, 25.11.2019 and 27.01.2020 have not received any response till now.

The learned Senior Advocate further submits that the welfare measures now sought apropos the provident fund, is akin to the pending requests for medical welfare benefits for retired employees of Air India. The petitioners request that the present relief too may be considered simultaneously, by the employer and relevant authorities. In view of the above, this writ petition shall be treated as the petitioners' representation by respondent no. 1 and if deemed necessary by respondent nos. 2 and 3, as well and a decision shall be taken, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Should the respondents require additional information from the petitioners, they shall be so intimated.
