On 18th October, 2024, the Joint Registrar of this Court passed the following order:

"Vide order dated 21.07.2022 file is placed before this Court for completion of service of respondent.

There is no appearance on behalf of the parties. As per office note, neither the proof of payment of cost has been filed nor steps have been taken for service of respondent. Another last opportunity is granted to the petitioner to take steps for service of respondent and for filing the proof of payment of cost. On filing of receipt of proof of payment of cost along with PF within two weeks, fresh notice be issued to the respondent to be served by all permissible modes, returnable on 07.02.2025." 2.

It is noticed that there has been a complete non-compliance of the orders on the part of the Petitioner; neither cost has been paid, nor steps have been taken to serve the Respondent. In fact, the Petitioner has also stopped appearing.

Petitioner states that he has not been in touch with his client for past two years and is unaware whether there has been any settlement between the parties or not.

In the above circumstances, the instant petition is dismissed for nonprosecution.
