This is a case in which the petitioner who is minor child, through her guardian/father/mother, had applied to Directorate of Education [„DoE‟] for admission to the nursery/pre-school class as a candidate belonging to the EWS/DG category, in the academic year 2023-24, and pursuant to computerized draw of lots, the petitioner was allotted respondent no. 1 School i.e. Maxfort School, for the academic session 2023-2024. 4.

granted provisional admission in respondent no. 1-school i.e. Maxfort School.

No one had appeared on behalf of the school on the last two days. 6.
There is no appearance on behalf of respondent no. 1/school. 7.
Thus, considering the aforesaid submissions made before this Court, this Court directs that the provisional admission granted to the child of the petitioner in this case be made regular by the respondent no. 1/school forthwith.

Needless to state, the petitioner child herein would continue to be entitled to all the facilities available to EWS/DG students, as has been provided under the RTE Act.

Accordingly, the writ petition along with pending application stands disposed of in the above terms.
