In view of the Bar Council of Delhi Elections, the matters listed on 21st February, 2026 were notified to be listed today, i.e., 24th February, 2026. Hence, the present matter is taken up for hearing today. 2.

Mr. Manu Chaturvedi, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent/ South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), submits that the present writ petition has been premised on a letter dated 26th February, 2021 addressed by respondent/ SDMC to the petitioner's tenant seeking certain information pursuant to a routine survey.

The aforesaid letter does not envisage taking any coercive action against the petitioner.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the petitioner to respond to the aforesaid letter dated 26th February, 2021 within two (2) weeks from today.

Based on the response, SDMC shall proceed further in accordance with law.

In the event the petitioner has any further grievance, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
