CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE YOGESH KHANNA

O R D E R

% 15.03.2019 CM APPL No. 12329/2019 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(C) 2656/2019 The premises bearing No.2AB, Mezzanine Floor, Connaught Place, New Delhi originally belong to Anand Kohli and Harsh Kohli from whom the petitioners has taken the premises on rent. Their lease deed expired in January 2019. The petitioner has strained relations with her landlord / owner. Since there were issues qua nonpayment of electricity dues, the electricity in the premises was disconnected; but now admittedly the entire dues have been cleared and nothing remains till 15.02.2019.

The learned counsel for the petitioner says the petitioner shall ensure future dues shall be paid in the time prescribed. Since the owner are not coming forward to give No Objection Certificate for restoration of electricity connection, hence NDMC is finding it difficult.

Since the entire dues have since been cleared and since relationship between the petitioner and owners is strained, let the electricity connection of petitioner in respect of premises be restored, provisionally, within 48 hours, subject to completion of the formalities by the petitioner, as per rules and regulations of the respondent. The NDMC will not insist upon any compliance on the part of the owner in view of strained relations with the petitione, till the petitioner is vacated.

The petition stands disposed of in above terms. No order as to costs. Order dasti.

YOGESH KHANNA, J.
