IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ W.P.(C) 4179/2024 & CM APPL. 17109/2024 NIRAJ KUMAR ..... Petitioner Through:
Mr. Abhay Kumar, Adv.
versus COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST THROUGH ITS DIRECTORS & ANR.
..... Respondents Through:
Ms. Nidhi Mittal, Adv. with Mr. Apoorv Kurup and Ms. Aanchal Dubey, Advs. for R-2
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE C. HARI SHANKAR O R D E R (O R A L) % 19.03.2024 1.
The petitioner in this writ petition erroneously entered the subject code of the LLM entrance examinations to be undertaken by him, in his application form, as COQP 11 instead of COQP 14. 2.
COQP 11 was a code which applied for LLB entrance examinations and not for LLM entrance examinations. 3.
According to the averments in the petition, the petitioner wrote to the respondents on several occasions drawing attention to the inadvertent error committed by him and praying that he may be permitted to rectify the error and an admit card reflecting the correct subject code be issued to him.
KUMAR 15:47:37 W.P.(C) 4179/2024
4.
As the admit card which was issued to the petitioner reflected the erroneous subject code of COQP 11 instead of COQP 14, the petitioner has instituted the present writ petition before this Court. 5.
Ms. Nidhi Mittal, learned Counsel for the NTA, submits that the petitioner's grievance has been redressed by the respondents as they have issued a fresh admit card bearing the correct subject code COQP
14. The admit card has been handed over to Mr. Abhay Kumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner in court.
6.
Mr. Abhay Kumar, therefore, submits that his client's grievance stands redressed. He, accordingly, seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition.
7.
The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. C. HARI SHANKAR, J.
