In terms of the previous directions, learned counsel appearing for the respondent NDMC submits that though in the initial vacancy circular, the age limit was stipulated as 'not more than 70 years', however, by a corrigendum dated 16.10.2023, the age limited prescribed was reduced to 65 years instead of 70 years. The photocopies of Vacancy Circular as also the Corrigendum have been handed over the bench. The same are taken on record.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that since the petitioner is admittedly 67 years as on the date of the consideration, the petitioner's application could not be considered for further processing. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition. 4.
