The present appeal has been filed by 65 petitioners who claim to have been vending at different sites in Sarojini Nagar Market praying inter alia that directions be issued to the respondent No. 1/NDMC to consider their representation for issuance of permission on an interim basis, to continue vending at the sites in question. W.P.(C) 2392/2020

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition while reserving the right of his clients to approach the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of the area and submit their representations alongwith all documents in support of their claims of being existing vendors at the various sites mentioned in the petition, for consideration. 3.

The present petition is disposed of with leave granted as prayed for by the petitioners. We however make it clear that we have not examined the merits/de-merits of the claims raised by the petitioners or the pleas sought to be taken by learned counsel for the respondent No. 1 in opposition to this petition.
