The present Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 27(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking the issuance of warrants for the arrest of Mr. Udit Bansal as also orders for attachment of the sale of property of Mr. Udit Bansal, since Mr. Bansal who has been summoned as a witness in the ongoing arbitral proceedings as between the parties herein has, despite repeated attempts, refuse to enter the witness box and tender evidence. 2.

On the last date of hearing, i.e. 10.04.2026, learned counsel for the parties were ad idem that they would attempt to persuade Mr. Bansal to enter into the witness box and tender his evidence, since he was known to both the families.

Today, learned counsel for the Decree Holders, on instructions, submits that Mr. Bansal has now appeared and also tendered his evidence, and in view thereof, the present Petition would be rendered The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. infructuous and hence, seeks liberty to withdraw the present Petition. 4.
