LPA 186/2019 1.

Seeking exception to an order dated 08.02.2019 passed by the writ court in W.P.(C)1354/2019, this appeal has been filed under Clause 10 of the Letters Patent.

2.

An order dated 30.07.2018 passed by the Police Complaint Authority/respondent No.2 herein was challenged by the petitioner before the writ court. By this order passed by the competent statutory authority on 30.07.2018, a complaint filed by petitioner to the effect that the FIR and criminal case was malafidely and illegally registered against him and he was LPA 186/2019 Page 1 of 2

detained by the Police authorities of Police Station North-East and Shahdara District illegally was dismissed. It is alleged that the petitioner was falsely implicated in eight cases of extortion and four cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Twelve FIRs were registered against the petitioner and contending that registration of FIRs were illegal and with malafide intention he was implicated, the complaint was filed. The complaint authority, namely, the Police Complaint Authority and the writ court examined the matter in detail and recorded concurrent finding to say that there was no malafide. Registration of FIRs has been done and various procedures have been followed and finding no infirmity in the procedure followed the complaint of the petitioner has been rejected. 3.

We have gone through the detailed order passed by the learned writ court and we find that from Para 9 onwards the learned writ court has in detail discussed various contentions advanced and concurrent findings recorded by the Police Complaint Authority in the impugned order. 4.

The findings recorded by the writ court approving the findings of the statutory authority does not call for any further indulgence now in this appeal. The appeal is dismissed.
