By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondent to release the petitioner on third spell of furlough for a period of two weeks. 2.
Learned ASC for the State, as per instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner, pending before the Jail Authority, shall be decided within a period of two weeks.

In view of the statement made above, since there is nothing remaining in the present petition, the present petition, alongwith pending application, is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. SAURABH BANERJEE, J.
