It is stated that after the present petition was filed for quashing of FIR on merits, the parties had entered into settlement and the FIR was quashed by the Bench of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ajay Digpaul, vide order dated 26.08.2025, passed in a subsequent petition filed for quashing of FIR on the basis of settlement.

However, attention of this Court has been drawn to the fact that in the another petition moved for quashing of the FIR on the basis of the settlement, the factum of the present petition pending before this Court was not disclosed before the said Bench.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.
