The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent nos. 4 to 7 not to interfere in the peaceful married life of the petitioners and further, to direct respondent nos. 1 to 3 to extend full protection to the petitioners.

The petitioners claim that they married on 24.02.2020. The said marriage was against the wishes of the family members of petitioner no.1 (respondent nos. 4 to 7) and the petitioners apprehend harm at the hands of

the said respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the State states that inquiries were made and it was found that the petitioners were not found residing at the address provided in this petition.

In view of the averments made in the present petition, this Court considers it apposite to direct the petitioners to appear before the SHO, PS Seema Puri. He shall evaluate the threat perception and take such steps as he considers necessary for protecting the petitioners. He shall also provide the contact number of beat constables in order for the petitioners to contact the said officials in case of any eventuality.

The learned counsel appearing for the State states that a missing person complaint regarding petitioner no. 1 has been filed with P.S. Nand Nagari. The SHO, P.S. Seema Puri shall inform the SHO, P.S. Nand Nagari about the present petition. No further steps are required to be taken regarding the missing person complaint lodged with P.S. Nand Nagari. 8.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 9.
