% 21.03.2024 By way of the petition filed under section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the 03-member Arbitral Tribunal, that is seized of the disputes between the parties.

Mr. Rohil Pandit, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that a Sole Arbitrator was appointed vide order dated 13.01.2022 by this court, which was however converted to 03member Arbitral Tribunal vide order dated 25.02.2022 by the Supreme Court.

Mr. Pandit submits, that the last extension of the mandate was granted by consent of parties as recorded by the Arbitral Tribunal in order dated 04.10.2023 for 06 months, which mandate expires on 25.03.2024.

Upon being queried, Mr. Pandit informs the court that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments. 5.
Issue notice.

Ms. Aparna Singh, learned counsel appearing for the respondent accepts notice; and does not oppose the prayer made in the petition. 7.
Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by 01 year with effect from 26.03.2024.

The petition is disposed-of.
