% 12.02.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing of order dated 10.11.2017 vide which the petitioner's application for allotment of an alternate plot has been rejected by the respondent. Learned counsel for the respondent had sought time to get appropriate instructions. However, today, he seeks further time to get instructions.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied at this stage if the respondent is directed to treat the present writ petition as a representation and pass a reasoned and speaking order dealing with the contentions raised therein. Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to this course of action.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a

direction to the respondent to consider the present writ petition as a representation and pass a reasoned and speaking order within three weeks. It is made clear that the aforesaid direction is without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties. Needless to say that in case, the petitioner is still aggrieved by the order passed by the respondent, he would be at liberty to challenge the same as permissible under law.
