% 03.03.2020 CRL.M.A. 4702/2020 (Exemption) Exemption allowed, subject to just exceptions. BAIL APPLN. 623/2020 The applicant seeks extension of interim bail for a period of two weeks to take care of his aged ailing mother. It has been submitted on behalf of the applicant that biopsy of his mother has been performed; that the report in relation thereto is yet to be received.
On behalf of the NCB it has been submitted that there have been repeated applications that have been filed on behalf of the applicant seeking grant of interim bail repeatedly on the same premise; that the surgery of the applicant's mother is to be performed and so far the same has not been performed.
Vide order dated 05.02.2020 of this Court in Bail Application No.3198/2019, in view of the date of the surgery of the mother of the
applicant scheduled to be 14.02.2020, interim bail had been granted to the applicant for a period of four weeks from the date of his release and pursuant thereto, the applicant is presently on interim bail, which is stated to be till the period 06.03.2020, on which date, the applicant is to surrender.
Presently, the applicant is directed to surrender on the date after four weeks when the interim bail expires on 06.03.2020, with permission granted to the applicant to seek redressal before this Court on the date of surgery of his mother being scheduled.
