This is a petition filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking interim orders against the respondent. 2.

On 21.03.2025, this Court was pleased to restrain the respondent from selling, transferring, alienating, encumbering or creating any third-party interest in respect of their movable and immovable assets to the tune of Rs. 12.74 crores.

Vide order dated 27.05.2025, the said amount was reduced to the tune of Rs. 1.89 crores and the interim order is still continuing in favour of the petitioner and against the respondent.

Mr. Mittal, learned counsel for the respondent, states that the amount of Rs. 1.89 crores has further been reduced, to my mind, which shall be decided by the learned Arbitrator.

Since in ARB.P. 1488/2025, an Arbitrator has already been appointed, with consent of the parties, it is directed that the present petition shall be treated as a section 17 application and the same shall be adjudicated by the learned Arbitrator uninfluenced by any observations made in the orders dated 21.03.2025 and 27.05.2025.

Interim order to continue till the disposal of the section 17 application by the learned Arbitrator.
